This year we are celebrating 10 years of Word on the Wash. The conference was first held at Terrington St Clement Church on September 11th/12th 2015.
In order to mark this milestone, we are planning one or two different things. On the day, delegates will receive a commemorative booklet, which will include a brief history, photographs and a contribution from Kathleen Wallis, who, along with her late husband Revd John Wallis, were a driving force in getting the event off the ground.
We have also recently created a Word on the Wash: 10th anniversary YouTube channel, which brings together all of the available videos from the last 10 years, including every talk from the online event, held in 2020 due to the pandemic, upto and including Ian Coffey’s last year. In addition, we are putting together a powerpoint of pictures taken over the last ten years, titled ‘Ten years of blessings’. This will be available to see on the day at this years event during the coffee and lunch breaks. Some of the images have been added to the website and can be seen here.
